Economic Competitiveness

Southeast Asia can unlock enormous economic opportunities through clean energy.

But to unlock this opportunity we need to understand where clean energy can drive economic competitiveness, how clean energy fits into existing value chains and how renewable energy could attract new opportunities.

To explore this in Cambodia, we are undertaking a detailed analysis of the impacts of clean energy on the country’s economic competitiveness.

Our study has looked at how industries will be opened up by clean energy, where policy and regulation needs to be expanded and the impacts of clean energy on the country’s trading relationship.
