in Cambodia

Cambodia's Women in Clean Energy Fellowship

Are you a professional woman working at a clean energy company in
Cambodia? Are you an emerging clean energy leader?

This program is designed to support the capacity of women working in clean
energy in Cambodia and to build your professional network.

Our 2019 fellows have now been selected.

Why a Women in Clean Energy
Fellowship?

This Women in Clean Energy Fellowship is designed to support the capacity of women in clean energy in Cambodia through tailored professional development.

It is a 6-month fellowship, where we will work with female professionals and their companies to identify what skills would assist them to grow professionally. There will be individualised technical skills training and monthly leadership training delivered in partnership with Engineers Without Borders. We are also creating the unique opportunity to build relationships between women working in clean energy.

The program includes a weekend retreat, training provided by Engineers Without Borders and individual mentoring as well as opportunities for public speaking in Clean Energy Week.

Women in tech improve business outcomes across the board.

That’s why it is imperative they climb the ladder.

Companies in the top quartile for gender diversity are 21% more likely to have

financial returns above their respective national industry medians.

Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB) is a member-based, community organisation that creates social value through engineering. The Engineering Education Program aims to improve access to employment pathways and provides practical learning opportunities for students and practitioners in technical or engineering-related sectors.

EnergyLab and EWB together run an Internship program where EWB provides a Professional Skill Development program that runs parallel to a placement in the industry. For this fellowship EnergyLab partners with EWB because of its expertise in Leadership, mentoring and Soft Skill Development.
